TUC Tells Goldfields To Rescind Decision Over Planned Retrenchment
The Trades Union Congress (TUC) of Ghana has promised its unflinching support for the Ghana Mine Workers to seek a reverse of the decision of Goldfields Limited.
The Secretary General of the TUC, Dr. Anthony Yaw Baah said the Union will use every legal means to press home the concerns of the workers to avert the possible bad consequence.
Dr. Yaw Baah said the TUC will to welcome negotiation with the company in case they approach the TUC, but will not accept any unilateral decision which affects the interest of the workers.
