Angry youths of Kpaguri, a suburb of Wa in the Upper West Region, have assaulted five ladies suspected to be sex workers.
The ladies who were chased out from their quarters in a video going viral on social media, had their belongings burnt down to ashes by the furious youth.
The residents threw stones and other shape instruments at the women, wounding lot of them in the process.
Their rooms were ransacked and personal belongings set ablaze on Saturday night.
According to a report, four of the ladies, currently in a critical condition, are receiving treatment at the Upper West Regional Hospital.
The culprits who are currently in the grips of the police are assisting with investigations.
It is confirmed that, the suspected prostitutes also ply their sex trade with children believe to be 10 and 16 years who sometimes spend the night with unknown men in the community.
