The Executive Director for Media Foundation, Mr. Sulemana Braimah for West Africa, has chastised the New Patriotic Party for it constant abuse of journalists.

According to Mr. Braimah, the NPP has developed a culture of impunity which he states must stop.

In a facebook post, Mr. Sulemana Braimah wrote : “I am reading about an attack on journalists at the headquarters of the NPP. The NPP is sadly nurturing a culture of thuggery and impunity.

“This must stop. Enough of the violence from party security. Rule of law not rule of force.”

His comment comes in the wake of unprovoked attacks launched on two journalists by vigilante forces affiliated to the ruling party at the party’s headquarters in Accra.

The attacked journalists were from TV3 network and Ghanaweb.
