The Ministry of the Interior on Wednesday declared Monday, January 1, 2018 is a statutory public holiday.
A statement signed by the sector Minister, Mr Ambrose Dery and copied to the Ghana News Agency said: “The General Public is hereby reminded that Monday, January 1,2018, which marks New Year Day, is a Statutory Public Holiday and should be observed as such throughout the country”.
