Omanhene Of Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council Lauds Nana-B

Katakyie Kwasi Bumangama, the Paramount Chief of the Sefwi Wiawso Traditional Council has showered praise on Henry Nana Boakye popularly known as Nana-B for his commitment and passion as a young politician among his contemporaries in Ghana politics.

Speaking at his Okogyeabour Palace where Nana B paid a courtesy call on him, he openly revealed his admiration for Nana B.

He stated, that in an era where many youth see politics of insults as the way to climbing the political ladder, that of Nana-B has been characterised by fearless activism and excellent communication skills. I am always highly impressed by your excellent submissions on any network you appear on.

These abilities of Nana Boakye, the paramount chief revealed, makes him a exemplary among several other youth partaking in Ghana's politics.

He prayed and wished him well in his bid to become NPP's National Youth Organiser and revealed that he has no doubts that Nana-B would show impeccable leadership and further consolidate the youth front of the NPP.

On his part, Nana-B thanked the Paramount Chief , his elders and the people for the warm reception accorded him.

He further acknowledged that though traditional leaders are not to engage in active partisan politics, their counsel and directions have always proven vital to the success of all forward looking politicians

He stated that the Western Region has always been like a "second home" to him, as the seeds of his political career were laid years ago when he was elected as the first ever president of TESCON in the Uuniversity of Mines and Technology (UMAT) in Tarkwa.

Being in the Western Region he further revealed, has always been emotional to him as it recollects memories of his early days and humble beginning as a student politician and youth activist at UMAT.
