Kwesi Agyeman, a driver at Assin Foso, was on Wednesday, fined GH�300 for careless and inconsiderate driving and also causing harm, by a District Magistrate's court at Assin-Foso. The convict, who pleaded guilty to all three charges, will go to jail for nine months in default. Prosecuting, Police Inspector Peter Attah told the court presided over by Mr. Joseph Blay that sometime in February last year, Agyeman was driving a Toyota pick-up from Takoradi to Kumasi. He said on reaching Assin-Foso, he spotted a motor cycle ahead of him and to in an effort to avoid hitting it, he swerved his vehicle and in the process collided with a Nissan Mini bus, injuring a total of 15 passengers on both the pick-up and mini bus.
