VIDEO: Kokrokoo Charities Present Incubator To Koforidua Gov't Hospital

The Kokrokoo Charities Foundation founded by Mr Kwami Sefa Kayi, the morning show host of Kokrokoo on Peace FM, has presented an incubator to the Eastern Regional Hospital, Koforidua.

The Incubators estimated at 10,000.00 US Dollars and imported from Germany are one of the best brands of incubators in the world.

Presenting the Incubator to the hospital, the 2016 GJA Journalist of the Year recapped that Kokrokoo Charities Foundation has adopted this initiative to give back to society by installing incubators at various hospitals to save lives of preterm babies.

He further noted that in order to make this dream a reality, the foundation projects to donate 100 incubators to hospitals in the country as part of their contributions to the development of the country.

The foundation has so far presented 10 incubators with their presentation to the Eastern Regional Hospital becoming the eleventh across the nation.

Mr. Sefa Kayi assured the hospital that the foundation would donate more incubators to the facility should the opportunity arise because they're reliably informed that the hospital has enough space to accommodate the incubators though they already have three incubators provided by the government.

The Medical Director of the Hospital, Dr Kwame Anim Boamah, receiving the incubator on behalf of the hospital, expressed gratitude to the foundation, adding that the hospital will ensure good maintenance of the incubator to support the survival of preterm babies.

The Eastern Regional Hospital on the average is said to have ten(10) preterm babies daily at their Neonatal Intensive Care Unit, Peacefmonline.com learned.
