God Does Not Abandon His Servants

The Methodist Bishop of Tema says God’s work done in God’s way never lacks God’s support.

According to Right Reverend Thomas Forson, God will never disappoint someone he has chosen to do his work “ because he calls us out of nothing to make as somebody.”

He was preaching the sermon on the theme,”Be a faithful servant to the Lord’, at the induction service of the new executives of the Tema Ministers Organisation (TMO) at the Adonai Chapel in Tema.

The eleven member executive is chaired by Bishop Richard Ahiagbedey, head of Adonai Minstries.

Bishop Forson charged them to be reliable leaders who can be depended upon at any time so that members would appreciate the worth of the association.

“Like Nehemia in the Bible, persevere even in moments of difficulties, sacrifice your time and knowledge and be prayerful,”he said.

He encouraged them to,“ Have the mind of Jesus Christ. Have a creative mind to build something out of nothing.Have a forgiving mind, be humble and have a loving mind.”

The Methodist Bishop warned them not to seek glory for themselves but to be faithful servants who are instruments of God adding that “It should manifest to all that God has done it through you as you give glory to him.”

He charged them to proclaim the word of God at all times and encourage those who may waver in the face of challenges “ because trials are the tools of Satan to discourage the faithful”

Bishop Ahiagbedey paid tribute to his predecessors and their teams for their sacrifice and hardwork which had sustained the organisation and pledged that the new executive would continue from where they left off.
