The Police in Takoradi in the Western Region are investigating the circumstances under which a headmistress of Wood Methodist Primary School was found dead in her room on Monday.
Yesterday, some residents of Takoradi were shocked when news broke out that a very hardworking headmistress in the area had been found dead in her room.
The deceased, Georgina Micah was found dead after curious neighbours forced her door open after not seeing her that morning.
Some neighbours indicated that the deceased had always been punctual to school and so did not understand why she was still indoors after 7am so they forced the door open only to see the lifeless body of the middle aged woman in the room.
The body has since been deposited at the mortuary whilst police investigation into the case has commenced.
