Rana Motors has launched Ford Trucks 3543 Tractor head made specifically to meet the demand on the Ghanaian market.

The trucks are meant for rugged terrains, including quarries, mining, construction and distribution and logistics sectors.

Hitherto, the 4×2 had been the main axle configuration in the Ford Trucks tractors range.

The demand for inclusion of 6×4 tractor head to the range became paramount. Ford Trucks acceded to the request of the region by producing the 3543 T 6X4 Tractor head..

Speaking at the launch in Accra held under the theme “Moving the Nation”, the Chief Operating Officer of Rana Motors, Mr Kassem Odaymat said the introduction of the new Ford Truck 3543T was a partnership between Ford Otosan and Rana Motors.

“The demand for the 6×4 tractor head became paramount and our principals Ford Otosan acceded to our request to produce this beautiful piece of equipment, the 3543T for us in Ghana and eventually across the world,” he said.

Mr Odaymat announced that the company would open its Kumasi and Takoradi outlets in a couple of months.

“Rana Motors, authorized Distributors of Ford Trucks in Ghana is well positioned to carry through its commitment and promise of ensuring the introduction of new models on to the market and to open new facilities to serve other geographical areas. Kumasi is done; opening soon and Takoradi is underway,” he stated.

Mr Odaymat said: “With the kind assistance of Ford Otosan, and our dedicated truck driver trainer, we have trained all our clients’ truck drivers on principles of safe driving and the like. On-site maintenance, break-down assistance with our 5 mobile workshops and repair services to Ford truck owners have received great commendation; patrons save money and time by this top notch technical support.

He reiterated the company’s commitment to offer their patrons and transporters the best in heavy load haulage, irrespective of the distance and the terrain saying “we have a brand that believes in “sharing the load” – let a Ford truck carry the load and deliver a promise,”.
