Zain rewards customers' loyalty towards the brand

Zain Ghana has launched a new promotion to reward its loyal customers which is aimed at recognizing and appreciating all Zain customers for every amount spent on the consumption of any voice, data, Multimedia Messaging Service (MMS) and Short Messaging Service (SMS). The Zain Rewardz Loyalty program would allow customers to enjoy prizes upon consuming any of Zain's services and be granted reward and level points. Customers would earn one point for every GHC 0.02 spent. The accumulated points can be traded for different rewards and benefits from the supporting shops and partners on the promotion. Speaking at the launch, Mrs. Anne Grant, Director of Customer Care, said the program is specially packaged by the company to offer its customers special privileges and rewards for their loyalty to the brand. "Zain, since its launch a year ago, has remained wholeheartedly committed to delighting our customers through innovative products and services and excellent customer care service delivery because we realize that they are the reason why we are in business" She said. Mrs. Grant said there are several rewards which include airline tickets, holiday trips, electronic appliances, laptops, iPods, movie tickets, Spa tickets and Zain branded merchandise. She said Zain has managed to acquire 1.25 million customers in 12 months. Zain is a telecommunications operator across the Middle East and Africa providing mobile and data services to 64.7 million customers in about 24 countries.
