Hiplife artiste, Wisa Greid has indicated that he spent Ansah Addo Halifax’s Ten Thousand Cedis after the Journalist rejected it.

There were reports that Halifax gave Wisa an amount of Ten Thousand Cedis to pay for his fine when he was fined by court for unlawful exposure.

News of this gift created controversy after Wisa denied knowledge of the gift and indicated that his management and some group of friends paid his fine to make him a free man.

Halifax in a statement clarified issues with regards to the fact that he gave the money saying “I wasn’t even in court so I called few media friends who were there and sent the money so he would be freed. Wisa is my friend. We come from the same hometown and I felt it was right to help a brother who was in dire need at that moment”.

Speaking on Accra-based Starr FM, the artiste indicated that he truly received the money from Halifax but indicated that it was not used to pay for the fine.

According to him, he returned the money to Halifax who rejected it.

Wisa mentioned that he spent the money because his former Manager did not have need for it.

He said “I received GHC10, 000 from Halifax but I didn’t use it to pay the fine, after the fine was paid I tried returning the money to him but he rejected it so I spent it“.
