JUSAG presents motorbikes to Members in U/E

The Judicial Service Staff Association of Ghana (JUSAG) on Wednesday presented 15 motorbikes worth about 20,000 Ghana Cedis to some of its staff in Bolgatanga in the Upper East Region to facilitate their work. Presenting the items to the beneficiaries, the National President of JUSAG, Mr. Adia Abdul-Latif said the motorbikes were acquired through the Consumer Credit Scheme of the Service and it would be deducted on monthly basis from the salaries of the beneficiaries over a three- year period. He said the 15 workers who received the bikes were the first batch of the 80 applicants from the region to have benefited. Mr. Abdul-Latif advised the beneficiaries to obey road regulations and ride carefully to avoid getting involved in motor accidents. He entreated members of JUSAG to eschew laziness, corruption and other negative acts that was likely to drag the image of the profession into disrepute. Mr. Abdul-Latif said the Executive of the association was negotiating with government to improve upon salaries and other conditions of service of workers.
