Rawlings Will Continue To Have Problems With You If . . .  -  Kokofu

Former NPP Member of Parliament for Bantama constituency, Henry Kwabena Kokofu has said that ex-President Jerry John Rawlings will not stop barking at the NDC if the current leaders do not make up their mind to work per the regulations of the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council [AFRC] system.

According to him, the National Democratic Congress [NDC] is a direct beneficiary of the [AFRC] legacy, therefore, its leader can never be happy with those in charge of the party when they don’t want to follow those principles under which the party was formed.

“ . . Indeed, former President Rawlings will continue to have problems with you if you refuse to perform your duties per reference to the Armed Forces Revolutionary Council [AFRC],” Kokofu said on UTV.

Speaking on UTV’s ‘Adekye Nsroma’ programme, Kwabena Kokofu strongly stated that he believes there will be no need to beg the founder of the party if they had changed their attitude.

"What will be the difference if you beg him but keep behaving in the manner that your first leader has warned you against?” he asked.

He thinks the present leaders of the party should talk and train the younger ones on how to address issues and be mindful with their choice of words.

He added that it will be very difficult for the NDC to comeback into power since they have refused to know where they hail from.
