Amissah Arthur Donates And Congratulates Muslims On The End Of Ramadan

Former Vice President of Ghana Kwesi Amissah–Arthur has congratulated all Muslims in Ghana, as the whole nation takes a break to celebrate Eid-Ul-Fitr.

‘Barka da Sallah’, he said.

He called on Muslims to use the month of Ramadan (fasting) to educate the youth on the need for perpetual peace in the country.

"let the people especially the youth know the essence of peace, not only during this period, but even after fast."

The Immediate –Past Vice President made the call when he donated assorted food items to Muslim communities at various locations.

The first Place of call was with the Ameer of the Ahmadiyya Muslim Mission, Ghana at its headquarters in Accra. Then to the office of the Sarraki  Zongo, the Adisadel Mosque  and other places in  CAPE COAST in the Central Region. The food items which included bags of rice, Oil and other assorted products.  

Mr Amissah–Arthur said the donation was in accordance with the tradition of supporting the Muslims to provide adequate meals during the obligatory month of fasting.

He gave the assurance that he would continue to support them to realize their religious ambitions and urged them to dedicate their lives to what the holy prophet Mohammed stood for.

At Labone the Ameer commended the Vice President for socializing with them during the holy month, adding "as they dedicate the month in praying for development, peace and tranquility for our country".
