The much talked about debate for the NPP's National Youth Organizer aspirants came off in Koforidua last Saturday and it ended with everyone talking about Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B).
Without mincing words, Nana B was just a delight to watch at the debate. His energy, charisma and the coherence with which he delivered answers dazzled virtually everyone at the debate. It became very difficult controlling the crowd anytime Nana B was on the microphone.
The chants and shouts of the obviously thrilled gathering gave Nana B a tough time anytime he was on the floor but he still managed to send his message across clearly to the admiration of everybody.
The debate designed for the NPP National Youth Organizer aspirants saw Henry Nana Boakye (Nana B), Kamal Deen Abdulai and Nana Bediako Dansah Emmanuel participating. Dominic Eduah chickened out a few days to the event. He has been criticised heavily for this decision.
The debate organized by Critical Thinkers International in collaboration with the NPP National Youth Wing attracted high profile government officials and NPP stalwarts like Sammi Awuku (National Youth Organizer), Hon.Dr. Sheikh Mustapha Hamid, PhD (Minister for Information), Hon. Anthony Abayifa Karbo, MP (Dept. Minister for Roads), Hon. Kojo Oppong-Nkrumah, MP (Dept. Minister for Information)
Also in Attendace was Lawyer Justin Koduah Frimpong (CEO, YEA), Dr Kingsley Nyarko( Exe Director at Danquah Institute), Mr Emmanuel Attafuah Danso (Director, International Relations- NPP), Alhaji Bashiru (Dep, CEO YEA), Hon Collins Owusu Amankwa (MP, Manhyia North), Jerry Osei-Poku (Eastern Regional youth organizers), Alhaji Rashid COP (Northern Regional Organizer), Nelson Owusu Ansah( Ashanti Regional youth organizer), Micheal Osei Boateng (B.A youth organizer) and Alhasan Ghana ( Northern Regional youth org).
Constituency Youth organizers and their deputies as well as TESCON Presidents across the country were also present
The NPP goes to polls this Saturday in Koforidua to elect its National Executives and it is believed that Nana B is likely to emerge the next NPP National Youth Organizer.
