Women have been urged to be more focus on building a formidable future with their partners regardless of the current situations.

Women must be willing to invest in the lives of their partners just as some men do. According to Mercy Balogun this is a sure approach to maintain balance and healthy growth in relationships.

The Executive Director of Time to Shine Ministries Mercy Balogun who was honor at the Global Women Economic and Social Women Empowerment Summit for her contribution to growth and promotion of the agenda of women across made these remarks.

According to her, the involvement of women in the 21st century in the lives of men remains paramount.

‘’We must look beyond the now and focus into the future, by working and supporting the effort of men’’; adding, women should be fortified and willing to ensure the success of their husbands’’.

‘’Behind every successful man is either a wife or a side-chick, the effort of women can never be underestimated’’.

The idea of women being their own enemy continues to gain grounds, with most women right activist and empowerment groups agreeing to this phenomenon. This growing phenomenon cripples the very foundation of women’s growth to enhance fair competition.

Mercy Balogun described this posture by some women as unfortunate and a major setback for women. ‘’It is rare to have women even compliment even the dressing or appearance of others how much more supporting initiatives started by a fellow woman ‘’.

The African woman must grow beyond mediocrity and embrace feminism towards empowering each other and be willing to facilitate the growth of each other, she added.

‘’My focus is to help build the African woman across board, giving the opportunities and seeing them through. I look to establish a formidable gospel talent series which is already running in the United Kingdom U.K also in Ghana with the aim to explore potentials of many Ghanaians especially women’’.
