Offinsoman Green Team, a group committed to environmental development, has presented assorted books and three computers worth 15,000 dollars to the Dwamena Akenten Senior High School (SHS), Offinso in the Ashanti Region.
The items were made up of Arts and Science books, dictionaries, novels and teachers' guide books.
Mr. Anim Addo Sampong, Founder of the group and an old student, advised the students to cultivate the habit of reading since the knowledge derived from it was important for human development.
He called on them to make judicious use of the books hoping that the items would contribute significantly to their academic work.
Mr. Francis Chireh, the Assistant Headmaster, thanked the group for the gesture and commended them for their commitment to grow trees on the compounds of schools in the Municipality to improve the eco-system.
