Since the  of the dismissal of the energy Minister, Boakye Agyarko last night, social media announcementhas been awash with varied reactions and opinions on the issue.

There basically are three schools of thought as monitored and identified by Mynewsgh.com

Those who are happy about the dismissal, those who are sad and those who question whether the Minister is not being sacrificed to serve as a scapegoat.

For the first group, they believe his dismissal will serve as deterrent to other government appointees who may contemplate any corrupt acts.

These particularly are both members of the ruling party and opposition members who respectively believe that the president is saving the party for the embarrassment and that they have been vindicated.

To the second group who are sad, they believe the former energy minister was a hard working man who was on top of his job and therefore has not been fairly treated.

The third group actually doubt if the Minister acted alone and is not being sacrificed in order to make the president and the New Patriotic Party look good in the eyes of the public.
