2019 AFCON Qualifier: Kenya Coach Vows To Upset Ghana

Kenya coach Sebastien Migne is confident about his side's chances against Ghana in a 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at home on Saturday.

The Harambee Stars are desperate to pick their first maximum point of the qualifying campaign after losing 2-1 at Sierra Leone in their opening game.

The East African side must dig deep to overcome a much-fancied Ghanaian side at the Kasarani Stadium.

But Frenchman Sebastien Migne remains defiant about his chances against the four-time African champions.

“We have started off well. I’m happy with the players’ fitness levels and morale.

“We are working on getting ready for the match. Ghana will pose a tough challenge but I have trust in my players and I’m confident they will get a positive result,” Migne said after taking his charges through their paces on Monday.

The first batch of 21 players, led by Masoud Juma reported to camp on Sunday with the rest expected to jet in the course of the week.
