No Person Can Occupy My Position In The NDC Now - Gen. Mosquito Brags

NDC General Secretary, Johnson Asiedu Nketia has said there is no single person within the NDC now to occupy his position.

This he said rekindled his hope to seek reelection as Chief Scribe of the ‘Umbrella Party’ to bring his party back to power.

Speaking on NEAT FM’s morning show dubbed ‘Ghana Montie’; Asiedu Nketia noted that “Under no circumstance will I turn down my position when my party is in opposition.”

“This is the time my party needs my expertise, knowledge and braveness to bring them back to power. Who else can do that?” he asked.

According to Johnson Asiedu Nketia, whoever wants to contest him is free to do so.

General Mosquito was Member of Parliament for the Wenchi West constituency from 1992 to 2000.

When Ghana decided to change to constitutional rule, Asiedu Nketiah was elected to the Consultative Assembly which drafted the 1992 constitution.

His performance at the assembly earned him the accolade “Heavy Weight”.

Under his leadership rose a renewed re-invigorated NDC ready to match the NPP boot for boot in what was named the “Mother of all Elections” in 2008.
