'Butterfly' Kojo Bonsu Too Weak To Lead NDC – Kofi Adams

National Organizer of the opposition NDC, Kofi Adams, has described Mr. Kojo Bonsu, former Mayor of Kumasi as a 'butterfly', who is too weak to lead the party for election 2020.

According to him he is too light in weight to lead the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking to Kwame Nkrumah Tikese on Okay FM’s 'Ade Akye Abia' programme, the former Campaign Coordinator of the party explained that the NDC, as it stands now, needs a very more credible person to lead them.

The National Organizer explained that he was not surprised when he heard that the former Kumasi Mayor had declared intention to lead the party because he rushed in organizing the Unity Walks.

"The party had earlier indicated that we had series of programmes to fortify our front and become more united and focus as we prepare for the elections ahead," he explained.

"You see like a butterfly, the wind blows it away any how and gets weak with time, and that is how Kojo Bonsu is, he is too weak to lead the party to victory come 2020," he added.

Mr. Adams added that as the party goes into election 2020, they need someone who has the charisma and the can-do spirit.

"And I know former President John Dramani Mahama has that ability to lead the party with his past track record.

"But it is a contest anybody at all can contest, so he is entitled to that," he insisted.
