PHOTOS: TeamSly Meets With Tempane Constituency And Branch Executives

TeamSly, as part of its Upper East Regional tour engaged with the constituency and branch executives of Tempane Constituency. The delegates described Mr Mensah as innovative, strategic and a consummate politician.

Sly interacted with them and called for the amendment of our party constitution to re-define the role of the council of elders to make them effective and relevant all year round and not only when the party is in crisis situation or in opposition.

This will bridge the gap between the elders and founding fathers of our party and the structures of the party thereby strengthening the party further.

Delegates received his message with ground-breaking joy and happiness with singing and dancing! The atmosphere was charged, the support was massive with lots of endorsements while other delegates voluntarily offering themselves to join and campaign for Hon. Sylvester Mensah because in their view the flagbearer hopeful has a solid, best-fit message that will fix the lame horse and position it in a solid state for the battle in 2020.

Upper East Region

Led by Constituency Executives, NDC flagbearer hopeful Sylvester Adinam Mensah paid courtesy calls on the Paramount Chief of the Nangodi traditional area, Naab Kosom Asaga Yelzoga II at Nabdam; the Paramount Chief of the Bongo Traditional area, Naba Baba Salifu Aleemyarum, at Bongo; and the Paramount chief of the Navrongo Traditional Area, Navro-Pio Pe Dennis Balinia Adda, at Navrongo.

Hon Sylvester paid homage to the Paramount chiefs and asked for their permission and blessing to engage their subjects who are party delegates in their respective paramountcies.

He assured the chiefs that a new NDC government under his leadership would seek to improve the party's relations with traditional authorities and support them to offer leadership to their people.

He shared his perspectives on why the NDC lost the 2016 general election and assured them of a renewed hope and change. The chiefs commended Sly and prayed that success shall come his way.
