The Youth and Women's wings of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), seen as integral wings of the party and critical in the opposition party's bid to win the 2020 elections, are about to elect leaders for these two bodies in a few hours time.

Under the theme “Working together to win in 2020”, the conference is being held at the Pentecost Convention Centre at Gomoa Feteh in the Central Region.

The NDC is scheduled to hold its annual congress on November 17, 2018 during which its national executives would be elected.

But ahead of that, delegates will first pick leaders for both the Youth and Women’s wings of the party.

7 people are gunning for the two positions.

Battle For National Women's Organizer 

Four ladies are aspiring for the position of National Women's Organizer, including the incumbent Madam Zaynab Joyce Mahama.

The others are; Hajia Tawa Zakari, Madam Margaret Chiravira and Dr Hanna Louisa Bisiw.
