'Traumatised' Adu Asare Explains How His Name Changed...Says He Is Not Going To Court For Now

Former Member of Parliament for Adenta, Kojo Adu-Asare has narrated how his name changed on the ballot paper during the 9th Delegates Congress of the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Adu-Asare was confident of winning the General Secretary position of the party only to find out on the Election Day that a wrong name corresponded to his picture on the ballot paper.

Even though an objection was raised, nothing was done about it, according to his camp.

In that contest, Lawyer Barbara Serwaa Asamoah polled 3, 041 votes while Otukonor had 1, 816 votes to emerge the two Deputy General Secretaries of the party.

Speaking to Kwami Sefa Kayi in an interview on Peace FM morning show 'Kokrokoo', Tuesday, Adu Asare said he is not sure of his next action; whether or not to go to court or support the candidates who won.

According to him, for now, 'my health is paramount' and that he needs to recover from the trauma, sleepless nights and fatigue after the congress.
