According to him, he knew the late MP from the period he became a Chief Executive of the Food and Drugs Board till he turned a Member of Parliament.

Prof. Agyekum noted that the late Hon. Kyeremanteng Agyarko was an “affable” person who exhibited an excellent spirit of nationalism.

He added that Mr. Agyarko was an epitome of humility despite his pedigree.

Commiserating with the deceased family, NDC Stalwart Brogya Gyenfi also noted that the late MP lived an exemplary life of great leadership for all parties in the country.

He stated that Mr. Agyarko was a “nice person . . . He was not too partisan and antagonistic. No matter your background, he will relate with you well . . . He was very [very] good, down to earth. He liked everyone and it appears like indeed good people don’t live long.

“Ayawaso West Wuogon constituents have lost a Member of Parliament. Ghana’s Parliament has also lost a great person. NPP, as a political party, has also lost a great person. NDC has also lost a good comrade. I know Peace FM (Kokrokoo) and even the entire media in Ghana have lost a very solid resource person”.

The panel sent their deepest condolences to the family and friends of the late Hon. Kyeremateng Agyarko.
