Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, Volta Regional Minister, has said that 2019 would be brighter with opportunities and charged the people in the Region to position themselves for a better year.

He asked them to adopt appropriate strategies and take advantage of government’s interventions to enhance their living standards.

Dr. Letsa, in a Christmas message copied to the Ghana News Agency, asked the people to reflect over 2018 and pray for the government to deliver more social intervention programmes to grow the economy.

He lauded the efforts of the security services in the Region for ensuring peace and charged Departments and Agencies, which failed to meet their targets, to double their efforts and perform better in the coming year.

The Regional Minister commended chiefs in the Region for their support and cooperation of government’s policies, projects and programmes.
