Body Of 16 -Year Old Student Found At Takoradi

The lifeless body of Master Eugene Gyamena, a 16 year- old student of the Bishop Essuah Basic school in Takoradi was on Friday discovered at "Monkey Hill," a popular monkey sanctuary within the Metropolis.

The deceased, who left home around 0630 hours last Wednesday, was said to be a quiet gentleman in the neighbourhood of Newsite, a suburb of Takoradi.

His slippers were found few metres away from the crime scene with blood all over his head but no trace of cuts on any part of his body.

Ms Comfort Gyamena, identified the deceased as her nephew together with other family members after his body was deposited at the Effia Nkwanta hospital by the homicide unit of the Police Service.

She said on that fateful day she had a chat with the deceased before leaving for an evening church service only to realise upon her return that Eugene, alas Kwaku, was not at home.

She said an alarm was raised in the neighbourhood, where some residents assisted in searching around but to no avail.

The deceased is believed to have engaged a friend that evening over his money and came home with a mobile phone belonging to his friend.

The Aunt said the friend had given inconsistent information to the family and even the police.
