By-election Violence Victim To Have Leg Amputated

Ishau Yaro, the 37 year old married man with three children and a victim of the Ayawaso West Wuogon bloody violence is to have his right leg amputated due to the severity of his wound.

Doctors attending to him have advised that the best option to save his life from future mishaps per the level of damage sustained on his right leg is to agree for the leg to be amputated.

Apart from his right leg going to removed he has to go through a third surgery.

Meanwhile, spokesperson for Ishau Yaro’s family, Ibrahim Musa in an interview with Joy News has said that family of the victim have not received any money from the MP, neither has she given her cell phone number to them be called back for adequate funds should the five thousand Ghana cedis she has already donated not sufficient to foot his hospital bills.

“We haven’t received any money from the madam [Ayawaso West Wuogon MP, Hon. Lydia Seyram Alhassan] as she claims, neither have we received any number from her. She should come again and tell us the family member she has given her number to,” he said. 

Ibrahim Musa said the hospital bills of the victim has already been paid by the NDC party, therefore it is not necessary that somebody would want to pay the bills of his injured brother to create a scene as if the family is short of funds to pay bills.

“What we know about her is that she came to the 37 military hospital yesterday and greeted our brother, just for us to hear in the news that she has donated five thousand Ghana Cedis, meanwhile, there are responsible people who have already foot the hospital bills of my brother.”

He as well rubbished speculated reports in the media that his brother is not a member of the 'Azorka boys' rather he is a branch Youth Organizer at the Okai Kwei Central, Fadama Gbemumu electoral area who was on his party duty rounds without any foreign material.
