NPP USA Women's Wing Supports Hole-In-Heart Patient With $12000

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Women Wing in USA has donated $12,000 to help treatment of a University student, Theresa Owusuaa, who was diagnosed with a hole in her heart.

Theresa Owusuaa, a level 200 student of University of Ghana, was diagnosed with the heart problem by doctor’s months ago at the National Cardiothoracic Centre at the Korle-bu Teaching Hospital.

Presenting the donation, the Treasurer of the NPP USA Women Wing, Madam Paulina Asantewaa said "they heard the predicaments of  Owusuaa and decided to help her...As mothers, it is one of our core responsibilities to support the underprivileged. We are delighted to be part of this life saving initiative… as a group, apart from politics; we also look out to save lives".

“Even though we were late to foot bills for her Operation but that does not stop us from helping pay the medical bills for her full recovering.”

Receiving the cash donation on behalf of Owusuaa, her elder brother named Collins Frimpong expressed the heartfelt gratitude of the family to the donors for their charitable act.
