Popular Ghanaian actor and staunch supporter of the opposition NDC party, Clement Bonney popularly known as ‘Mr. Beautiful’ says the former Deputy General Secretary of the NDC; Koku Anyidoho has little knowledge on how celebrities have played major roles in NDC’s campaign over the years.

He said the move is “strategic” – his comment comes after Koku Anyidoho accused Ghanaian celebrities of being part of the NDC’s defeat in the 2016 elections.

“In fact that defeat was painful. So many things went wrong and the Kwesi Botchwey report has stated it clearly. celebrities played part in our defeat,” Koku had said in an earlier interview with Neat FM’s morning show ‘Ghana Montie’.

But Mr. Beautiful said “Koku knows nothing about why we [Celebrities] joined NDC’s campaign.”
