I Cried On The Streets Of America Everyday - Gloria Sarfo

We all have demons we battle with, things we suffer and are reluctant to share with people. The is the very reason why we have been advised incessantly to always show kind eyes to people, smile and be nice to others for one cannot readily tell the darkness the next person walks through.

Actress Gloria Sarfo has opened up on a rather sad phase in her life. She talks about how depressed she had been when she woke one day to see her world crashing before her very own eyes. She made these revelations at Choose Life Ghana and The National Service Personnel Association Of Greater Accra when she Chaired a symposium on suicide dubbed “Brave Not Broken” as her way of spreading light and love.

“I suffered a lot of depression, I couldn’t live a normal life”. During these hard times, I kept everything to myself and still came on social media to say all the beautiful things. I got a visa and travelled to the USA. I arrived there and the next day I was informed my mum has had a terrible accident, the same morning my fiancee told me he has been attacked. I walked on the streets of the United States Of America crying every day.”
