PUSAG Women’s Commissioner Donates To Dzowulu Special School (PHOTOS)

The Women’s Commission of Private University Students Association of Ghana (PUSAG), Mavis Boatemaa has donated assorted food items worth over GH4, 000 to Kids with Autism at Dzowulu special school in Greater Accra.

Mavis Boatemaa, National Women’s Commissioner of PUSAG, made the donation to the authorities of the school on Thursday 30th May, 2019.

The items comprise toiletries, groceries, drinks, cooking oil, flour, rice, and other items to support children living with autism.

In an interview after the presentation, Miss Boatemaa stated that her core mandate as a commissioner is to reach out to the needy and the marginalized in society, thus “we decided to come around, show some love, spend the day with them, talk to them, pray with them, and give them the little we have, just to make them feel that even though they are not well, we still have them in our minds.”

She advised that as human beings we are sometimes confronted with so many issues such as this but we need not to be disappointed but accept the situation and rather treat them as one of us.

She therefore urged individual and other institutions to follow suit and make it a habit to donate in season and out of season.

Mr. Kenneth Kwame Kuko, Senior House master who received the items on behalf of the School thanked Miss Mavis Boatemaa and her team for their kind gesture and prayed for God’s blessings upon them.
