Andre, Agyapong Abstain From Training After Benin Game

The Black Stars of Ghana returned to training on Wednesday morning in Ismailia, Egypt, without two players; Thomas Agyapong and captain Andre Ayew.

This was after they were held by Benin two all in the first game of Group F, of the ongoing 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) at the Ismailia Stadium on Tuesday evening.

Information gathered by the GNA Sports indicates that, the two players abstained from training due to the knocks in the match against Benin.

The players were taken through a minor training as they gear up for the next game against Cameroon on Saturday, June 29.

The team is expected to continue with training on Thursday, in search for the three vital points to cushion their progress to the next stage of the competition.
