The Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) Foundation has been honoured at the 2019 Northern Business Excellence Awards as the Most Responsible Company of the Year in Northern Region, Tamale.

The 5th edition of the Northern Business Excellence Awards night held on Saturday, August 24, 2019 recognized GNPC Foundation’s significant contribution to progressive development  in the Region.

The foundation plays critical role in ameliorating the plight of the people support through its community engagement and social intervention programs.

The Executive Director of GNPC Foundation, Dr Dominic Kwesi Eduah, expressed gratitude on behalf of the organization in his Facebook post saying "to the good people of Northern Ghana, we are heartily grateful for this recognition at the Northern Business Excellence Awards 2019 in tamale. At GNPC Foundation, our core mandate on Ghana’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) is to impact the lives of Ghanaians through Community engagement and social interventions programe”.

He dedicated the award to the Board, CEO, staff and the dedicated people in the operational areas of GNPC Foundation.

The Northern Business Excellence Award is a component of the Northern Ghana Investment Conference to honour individuals and organizations that demonstrate the core value of business excellence, product excellence, sustainability and commercial success in their respective sectors.
