The Ghana Education Service (GES) has received some form of criticism following its introduction of the new school uniforms.
Some are of the view that it is not necessary and that there are more important aspects of education to focus on.
Prof Opoku Amankwa, Director-General of GES during an exclusive interaction with Kwami Sefa Kayi on Peace FM's morning show 'Kokrokoo', said apart from the numerous importance of the new school uniforms, it also has 'psychological feel'.
He has also indicated that the new uniforms are only for the Junior High Students (JHS).
