Chinese Ambassador to Ghana, His Excellency Shi Ting Wang, has applauded Ghana for its fastest-growing achievements.

According to him, the Chinese government is proud of the relationship between the two countries, in terms of the China and Ghana cooperative projects, from hospitals to schools and universities.

He, therefore, explained that China is the biggest trading partner with Ghana and also the fastest investor to Ghana.

"China is the biggest provider of human resource training to Ghana, ranking the first in terms of trainees and scholarships," he said. 

H. E. Ting Wang was speaking at the celebration of the 70th anniversary of the founding of the People's Republic of China in Accra.

He said China will continuously share its development with other countries.

"China's support to Ghana is sincere, mutually beneficial and without any strings attached," adding that, "it is a win-win situation".

He noted that China will continue to enhance the support to Ghana and help Ghana realizing its ambition of "Ghana Beyond Aid" as soon as possible.

"I believe that, with the great support of Ghanaian people, and with the support of the International development partners in China, Ghana will surely make to it beyond aid agenda. 

On his part, Minister for Defence, Dominic Nitiwul said Ghana is one country on the African continent that presently has the highest number of students studying in China.

"Government of Ghana is grateful to the Peoples' Republic of China for their support to the government of Ghana . . . People to people exchanges are a great effort to improve human resource development cooperation between Ghana-China and that the government of Ghana will continue to assist the government of China with the needed resource as developing partners," he added.
