A dog owner has revealed her puppy died from a heart attack after she was left terrified by fireworks. Molly, a terrier, was just 18-weeks-old when she experienced extreme distress on Saturday night.

Owner Susan Paterson has shared photos of her pup with her alarming message to the public Facebook group - Wombwell wise - which covers the area in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

The post has since been shared 63,000 times, and has more than 105,000 comments Manchester Evening News reports.

In her devastating message, Susan calls for people to support the FAB (Firework Abatement Campaign) and to sign the petition against random fireworks.
