Mahama Drove Financial Sector To The Ground But Akufo-Addo Rescued It - Buabeng Asamoah

The communications Director of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP), Lawyer Yaw Buaben Asamoa has said President Akufo Addo-led administration's prudent measures has helped rescue the banking sector from the reckless opposition NDC party.

According to him, the drastic decisions by Akufo Addo’s government helped save the banking sector from clueless opposition NDC.

Addressing a press conference yesterday, Hon. Yaw Buaben Asamoa said by diligent management, the NPP government has in the last three years turned things around in the banking sector for the better.

Assuring Ghanaians of government’s determination to offer hope to its citizens, Mr. Yaw Buaben said the “real benefits” of NPP governance will manifest going forward.

“The benefit of our economic management will become manifest as we go forward, no doubt we have all had difficulties in our financial sector cleanups but it was necessary.”

But we have stabilized the sector…depositors monies have been saved…the core of the economy is intact as over 4.6m and above have their depositors safeguarded and will access them in due time…this has kept the economy stable - a bold decision that will keep this country afloat,” he added.
