The Ministry of Health has procured motorcycles for all health facilities including Community Health Planning Services (CHPS) centres in the Brong Ahafo region.
Mr. Rojo Mettle Nunoo, Deputy Minister of health stated this in Parliament in response to a question by Hon. George Boakye, MP for Asunafo South.
Hon. Boakye wanted to know when the Nobekaw and new Sawereso community Health Planning Centres which were constructed in 2008 by the Asunafo South District Assembly will start operation.
Mr. Mettle Nunoo said the Nobekaw and New Sawereso Community Health Service centres will benefit from a package of equipment which have been procured by the Ghana Health Service for distribution, to enable the centres to start operation.
