The National Youth Organizer of the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) Henry Nana Boakye has described the largest opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) as unserious party that lack ideas.

According to him politics is a serious business and that Ghana deserves a serious and credible opposition and not the NDC.

Speaking at a press conference on Wednesday November 6, 2019, Mr. Boakye emphatically stated that politics is a serious business; they (NDC) know they have nothing to contribute to the competition of ideas and performance, hence want to reduce the 2020 campaign to one of playing tribal tricks and their bogus list of family ties to the President. The opposition is empty of ideas and of performance.

“Whiles President Akufo Addo is busy solving the numerous mess the NDC created during their regime, they rather took a break from their visionless manifesto search hunting expedition to throw dust into the eyes of Ghanaians…They are aware that they have nothing to contribute to the competition of ideas and performances…So they want to reduce 2020 campaign to tribal politics. What the NDC is doing is clear - they want to play the Ashanti vrs Akyeam card, Akans vrs non Akans card...Ghana deserves a serious and a credible opposition,” he added.
