NDC Just Confused About 'Visionary' Akufo-Addo's Prowess - Kokofu

Deputy CEO for Integrated Iron and Steel Development Corporation, Dr. Henry Kwabena Kokofu has described members of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) as confused and refusing to understand any development or project embarked on by the Akufo-Addo government.

Speaking on UTV's 'Adekye Nsroma' political discussion programme, Dr. Kokofu charged members of the largest opposition party to thank their stars for having a visionary leader like President Akufo-Addo.

He said members of the NDC should be happy for the introduction of the sinohydro deal than finding every means to confuse themselves and the public on the project they wanted only one man and his family to benefit from.

"Members of NDC should thank their God for the sinohydro deal than confusing themselves and the public all because one person and his family did not get the mining site used for the barter trade for themselves as planned.

Meanwhile, his opponent on the show, Isaac Adjei Mensah, MP for Wassa East constituency disagreed with his submission and complained bitterly that the Akufo-Addo government has performed poorly on infrastructure development as promised.

"Our economy is not growing well per our standard of living and not GDP on paper," he lashed out at government on it's GDP figures.

He further counseled Ghanaians not to be lured by figures coming from the ruling NPP government.
