Daniel Wilson Addo Adjudged The Most Visible Banking CEO

The Centre for Media Analysis (CMA) has named Mr. Daniel Wilson Addo, Chief Executive Officer of the Consolidated Bank Ghana Limited (CBG) as the most Visible Ghanaian Banking CEO based on their analysis for September 2019.

Mr. Wilson Addo was second in August for the same position he holds now.

The centre which gathered information from seven traditional and media content providers namely; the Business and Financial Times, Daily Graphic, Graphic Business, Business Finder, Goldstreet Business, Economic Times and the Ghanaian Times said upon careful analysis, it observed that the bank was very visible on seven credible Ghanaian print medium from 1st -30th September, 2019.

CBG is a state-owned bank established in 2018 and is the third largest Bank in Ghana with 114 branches operational across the regions of Ghana.

Earlier this year, the bank celebrated its first anniversary and announced that the foundation for an excellent bank has been laid.

At a recent dinner organised by the Ministry of Finance in honour of the Senior Minister of Singapore, Mr Tharman Shanmugaratnam, Mr. Wilson Addo said CBG was poised to facilitate trade between Ghana and Singapore, adding that it had provided world class banking and would accordingly leverage on its expertise and understanding of the Ghanaian economy to support Singaporeans seeking to do business in Ghana.

CBG, which is a leading indigenous bank, believes such a partnership will be in the strategic interest of Ghana, and therefore, deserves to be supported.
