Spain-based goalkeeper Razak Braimah has stated his intention of playing for the Ghana national team after excelling with Poli Ejido. The 21-year-old, who plays for the Segunda side, says he is keen on fighting for place in the Black Stars. Braimah, who played for Nania FC, before clinching a dream move to the Spanish second divsion side says he wants to be considered for the national team. "It is always an honour to represent one's country and I will very much love it if I get the chance to play for the Black Stars," Braimah told Ghanasoccernet. "I know the team is full of very good players but I will gladly cherish a call up to show what I can do for my country. "I am praying for this chance and I hope that one day the Ghana coaches will also come here in Spain to see us play and decide. "But I think that I have made the necessary impression and gained the experience he to fight for place in the national team.� Braimah was a key player for Nania when they dominated Ghana's second league and thinks his experience is Spain has taken him to another level. "Football here is very different from Ghana. I have gone through the mill now and I am ready," he said. "There are lots of things you learn in European football that you can hardly get the chance to learn in Ghana because of facilities. "The facilities are here and i have take advantage of them. Now I need to show the people of Ghana what I can do." Braimah is the first Ghanaian keeper to be signed by a Spanish side as some of Africa's best shot stoppers are know to have player there. His greatest memory in his young football career is to have played against Espanyol's Cameroon keeper Carlos Kameni in a Spanish FA Cup game.
