Orca Deco Supports Kumasi Children’s Home

Ghana’s leading furniture and décor company, Orca Deco, has presented bedroom furniture, a Christmas tree, Christmas décor items and toys worth GH¢80,000.00 to the Kumasi Children’s Home in the Kumasi metropolis of the Ashanti Region.

The gesture is in fulfilment of a pledge made by the General Manager of Orca Deco Ghana, Mr Walid Didi, at the relaunch of the company’s Kumasi branch located at Asokwa opposite Kumasi Breweries in October this year.

Orca Deco explains that although the support forms part of its corporate social investment in Ghana, it also reinforces of its commitment to Asanteman emphasizing that Orca symbolises protection for people it considers family, therefore, it will go all lengths to make the lives of children warm, safe and comfortable especially during Christmas.

At a ceremony to hand over the items to the Home, Mr Didi expressed his outfit’s joy in contributing to the well-being of children in Ghana and being part of their stories.

“This year, you’re celebrating Christmas with Orca. We are replicating our in-store Christmas experience here so you can also experience the bliss together with our numerous customers who also have you at heart,” he said.

The manageress of the Kumasi Children’s, Madam Mabel Boama, in response to Orca Deco’s gesture, expressed her outfit’s appreciation to Mr Didi and the entire management of Orca. She disclosed that bedroom furniture will complement their existing infrastructure as well as make the lives of the children better and comfortable.

She thanked the Orca team specially for the Christmas tree, décor and toys expressing the children’s readiness and zeal to celebrate Christmas with Orca.
