Immense Ecstasy As Sarkodie & Prince Of Buk Bak Fame Perform ‘Oofeetso’ at Rapperholic 2019 - VIDEO

Saving the trendy song for the last, Sarkodie capped his performance at Rapperholic Unstoppable edition with ‘Oofeetso’ which features Prince Bright of Buk Bak fame.

Having performed with several artistes for hours, Sarkodie pranked patrons that the show had ended and began expressing gratitude to fans, sponsors, artistes who passed through to make the show a success, his management and whoever has one way or the other contributed to his brand.

Right after his remarks, the stage lights went off but the fan refused to fall for his trick as they stayed. DJ Mensah pressed ‘play’ and the reception was just over the roof!

‘Oofeetso’, released months ago after Sarkodie successful organized Tema Music Festival, stoked controversy with many suggesting the song was directed at Shatta Wale who subtly jabbed Sarkodie for organizing a free event contrary to some comments the rapper made some time ago.

“First they were pretending they don’t perform for free but Ghanaians are just like security cameras; they are watching and recording all these free street shows they putting up…” a tweet from Shatta Wale read.

Sarkodie however insisted he was not attacking Shatta Wale in the song although he admitted that his relationship with the dancehall artiste had soiled.

“I don't know what it is but we definitely have to straighten a few things out,” the BET Award winner said.

On his part, Bright mentioned that considering the struggles he’s been through to build a reputable brand, he will never dent it with a diss song.

He further indicated that based on how he reveres his late group member, Rooney Coaches, nothing will move him to attack a personality who was loved and appreciated by the deceased.

“Shatta Wale is Ronney’s man and you know how much I love Ronney. Shatta is family. I will look stupid to hurt Shatta Wale for my starters,” he said. “I started this thing out of love so why will I want to break something I created out of love for this past 22 years in the game. I will not use just 5 minutes to mess up everything I’ve worked so hard for.”

Rapperholic Unstoppable edition was held on December 25 at the Grand Arena. Like the past editions, Sarkodie who owns the show, performed while some acts he has worked on songs with, joined him intermittently to thrill patrons.

The artistes for this year’s included Coded, Efya, Sista Afia, Mr. Eazi, Joey B and Stonebwoy.
