Nii Dodoo & Naa Densua Weku Family Sets Up Educational Fund

The Family head of Nii Dodoo and Naa Densua Weku of Korle Gorno in the Greater Accra Region, Nii Masope-Crabbe on Thursday, 26th December, 2019 outlined programme for the establishment of Nii Masope-Crabbe Educational Trust Fund to assist brilliant but needy children in the family.

The scheme will be Nii Masope-Crabbe - the newly enstooled family head’s major contribution towards the development of education as well as complement the efforts of parents at providing quality education to their children.

Inaugurating the fund at Korley Gorno in the Greater Accra Region, Nii Masope-Crabbe expressed concerns over what he termed as lack of adequate localized educational foundation for children, which to to him, has retarded the progress of the indigenous people of the family.

This therefore is the fundament for the setup of the fund to aid underprivileged children attain quality education.

He therefore advised beneficiary students to study hard to prove them worthy of the support to ensure success of the scheme.

He further urged the youth in the community, particularly females, to avoid teenage pregnancy and any social vices but rather take full advantage of the scheme to achieve quality education that will transform them into better future leaders.

There were other activities like healthwalk and medical screening during the event and educational items including books, pens, mathematical sets calculators and many others were distributed to the people within Korle Gorno community.

Nii Masope-Crabbe also feted over 150 children in the community with food and drinks to mark the Christmas festivity.
