A staunch member of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Dela Coffie has called on President Nana Akufo-Addo to “fish out” the culprits in the Airbus bribery scandal.

According to him, the admission of Airbus to the crime is enough grounds for the President to launch full-scale investigations into the issue.

“...the protagonists in the Deferred Prosecution Agreement have agreed to have committed the crime, and this has made it very easy for any country mentioned in the case to ‘fish’ out the culprits involved,” he wrote on his Facebook.

“ Can the Akufo-Addo government follow the footsteps of Malaysia and Sri Lanka and seek for clarity and specifics from either the court or the UK SFO in order to unravel the true identity of those codenamed as government official 1, intermediary 5, 6 and 7?“, he questioned.
