Kennedy Agyepong Reacts To Airbus Saga...Promises To "Release More" Of Such Scandals Soon

Ghanaians over the weekend woke up to the news of a bribery scandal involving Airbus and some officials in about 5 countries.

The largest aerospace multinational in Europe admitted paying bribes in order to secure contracts to Ghana, Malaysia, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, and Taiwan.

In the case of Ghana, the operations were reported to have taken place between 2009 and 2015; during which former President John Mahama served as vice president and subsequently president.

Meanwhile, the opposition NDC has denied the allegation.

Reacting to this on Neat FM's Me Man Nti programme, the Member of Parliament for Assin Central, Kennedy Agyepong said the Airbus scandal is just a tip of the iceberg and that he will soon come out with more damning report which will prove how corrupt the previous Mahama administration was.

"In 2015 I told you some MPs were engaging in corrupt acts…with this airbus scandal, if you trace the accounts, it links to one of Mahama’s siblings…there is also Ghana Gas and a helicopter that was purchased and very soon I will put it out…I told Ghanaians; go to Tema oil refinery, GNPC and you will be amazed at the corrupt acts they (NDC) engaged in," he alleged.

According to him, "I blame my party" because "they have all this information and they don’t want to bring it out".
