Newly Inaugurated Ambulance Saves A Life In Ada

The recently commissioned ambulances couldn't have come at a better time because a Ghanaian would have perished on Monday, 3rd February, 2020, at Ada but for an ambulance that came to the scene.

A ghastly accident occurred in Ada in the Greater Accra Region with a passenger getting mortally wounded while commuting between life and death.

No sooner had the accident occurred than the Ada Constituency's ambulance reached the scene, ferrying the injured and swiftly sending him to the Ada Hospital.

Eye witnesses said that but for the presence of the ambulance, a live would have been lost. According to them, the professionalism with which the paramedics handled the injured and cared for him before the driver sped away was admirable.

"This guy would have died but for the ambulance which arrived here" an eyewitness recounted.

President Akufo-Addo, on Tuesday, 28th January, 2020, took the wraps off the 307 ambulances procured under his promised One Constituency: One Ambulance policy.

Though the opposition NDC has chastised President Akufo-Addo for embarking on a project not of paramount need to the masses, the lives being saved are proving them wrong.
